An ongoing area of exploration in my practice is memory. The fleeting nature of how we hold on to and morph our memories and stories of our lives, as well as the fragility of our minds and how these precious parts of our lives can be taken via injury or disease. Over the last five years various pieces and projects have looked at my own personal memories through mixed media quilts made by myself with cloth that holds memory as well as through community art projects.
